First Presbyterian Church Macon has made it part of our vision to Serve People as we grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Compassion In Action (CIA) is a catalyst designed to help us "put legs" to this commitment to serve. It is an annual day of service projects that will give us as a church an opportunity to join hands and tangibly meet needs of the distressed in our community through our partnering ministries. The purpose of CIA Service Weekend is to be a catalyst to year-long involvement in service as a lifestyle. This event will enable us each year to become more deeply aquainted with those in need and to find some very accessible ways to serve.
