As Christians, Jesus has commissioned us to a life of spreading the good news of his life, death, and resurrection so that others may come to know and trust Him. Our mission is to change lives and extend the kingdom of God by reaching the people of Macon with the Gospel and equipping them to serve in the kingdom.

Community Outreach

Lunch & A Lesson:
Each Wednesday, members of the downtown business and professional community are invited to participate in our midweek lunch and Bible Study.

Seminars:
Respected authors and speakers are brought to our church for the purpose of presenting the Gospel in new and refreshing ways to the downtown community for the purpose of reaching the lost and equipping believers.

College Ministry:
Our higher education ministry was begun in 2005 with the purpose of reaching students in our local colleges with the Gospel and incorporating them into the body of First Presbyterian Church. Please browse this location for more information.

Summer In The City:
Every summer, our Children’s Ministry trains our children to reach out to others by participating in Macon Outreach, a ministry that offers hope to the hungry and hurting in the downtown area.
